This extension adds permissions board-wide to the user profile link.

Strictly speaking it does in the sense that the url to the member's profile in viewforum , viewtopic, whoisonline (and probably others) is removed.

But a member's profile can still be accessed by using the url (.../memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=user_id)

If you generally do not want the profiles to be seen, you can use the "Can view profiles, memberlist and online list" permission.

But to get to the profile you need to know the ID of the user and also the url. And exactly this url is replaced with this extension with the user name. If you use the "Can view user profile link" authorisation.
