I just recently upgraded phpBB to version 3.3.14 from 3.3.5, which permitted me to upgrade PHP to version 8.0 from 7.4. I find that when I upload the attached image, I get this error using the mod described in this thread:
I note that the EXIF tag in this image is null. I can upload other images where it is populated.
If I revert to PHP 7.4, the attached image uploads without error.
