Take the advice of others and find out. If you haven't made any mods to the code, save yourself a lot of potential headache with this upgrade and future ones by using the preferred "Full Package" updated method. If you do have mods to the original code, maybe even consider reverting those back to stock if you can.I am looking to update my board from 3.3.0 to 3.3.14 using the Automatic Update Package because honestly I do not recall if I have made changes to core phpBB files.
Also, in the future I would try to keep the board up to date as new versions are released as there tends to be less issues when going one version up vs 14.
