It’s advised against doing so especially when the extension hasn’t seen any active development for some time and there’s been updates to core since then. If you need support then you’re pretty much on your own but it depends how badly you want to use it.is it wise to use an abandoned extension ? Also i am leaning more towards a shop that involves real money.Do you want to sell digital products with a forum currency or an actual shop that involves real money?

I’ve done a search on Google and can’t find any other shop extensions. I made an extension that involves real money and not a digital forum currency but it depends what you intend to use this shop for as you seem unsure what type of currency you want to use.
At the end of the day your options are limited. There’s very little choice out there.
